Full Job Description

Laboratory & Technical Services (Science & Technology)

• Communicate clearly and work closely as a team with Rolls-Royce to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with documented quality management requirements.
• Assist Senior Chemist with the development and implementation of new techniques and instrumentation.
• Ensure maintenance, including calibration of testing and measuring equipment is up-to-date and in proper order.
• Commission and validate equipment and methods according to standard practice.
• Conduct regular monitoring of equipment to ensure performance optimisation is obtained.
• Conduct regular stock checks of Laboratory’s supplies, keep records and issue purchase requisition to Rolls-Royce.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering or Engineering related discipline.
• Fast learner with experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a good team player.
• Possesses effective interpersonal and communication skills and able to prepare good technical reports.
• Flexibility to work extended hours to meet production needs.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates without experience
