Investment Officer, Custodian Management FIND YOUR

About the Role
Responsible for building and managing relationships with
all of AIA's custodian partners for retail accounts. Drive the overall
efficiency of the onboarding new partners, account opening, as well as
ongoing managing, monitoring and reporting processes.
WHAT
YOU'LL BE DOING:
The main focuses of this position are as
below:
- Establish an efficient and integrated process of custodian account opening, problem solving for new accounts, due diligence checking and ongoing account asset value monitoring/reporting
- Build and manage business partnering relationships and as well as onboarding of new custodian partners
- Responsible for account value updates, maintenances as well as account analytics to support internal analysis and reporting
- Lead all the requests and issues in relation to custodian account opening and maintenance including but not limited to asset transfer, deduction of charges, buying/selling/replacing assets, top-ups, withdraws, change of particulars
- Liaise with Asset Managers (appointed by Customer), where applicable, on signing of LPOA and all transaction requests triggered by AIA or client
- Manage the end-to-end process, and responsible for the overall efficiency of the custodian account opening, managing, updating, and reporting processes
Other focus areas include assisting with
- accounting issues and vital reporting
- regular reviews and internal/external audits
- regulatory and internal reporting
- At least 5 years of relevant experiences in financial industry
- Collaborative, great sense of responsibility and a strong team player
- Possess a passion for capital markets and dealing with enjoy working with various stakeholders
- Investment performance reporting / risk analysis experience will be an added advantage
- Familiar with investment reporting system and MS office applications including Excel, Power Point, Word
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; accuracy and detail orientated
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and verbalise thoughts, ideas, and reasoning
- Positive and energetic with potential to learn and grow
