Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
We are seeking for a motivated and self-disciplined incumbent to join us as a HR Associate to accomplish efficiency on HR operational activities and walk through employee’s lifecycle as a team player in the HR department. The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to attain the next level of career development at the position of managerial level.
Job Description, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Payroll and Compliance : Managing payroll, IR21, WICA, Security bond, insurance premiums, work passes, CoreTrade, and other Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements.
- Safety Management : Ensuring safety rules are reviewed and up-to-date, including risk assessments and PPE lists.
- Worker Management : Addressing worker needs, complaints, and other daily HR-related issues. Handling disciplinary actions as needed.
- Training Coordination : Organizing external training programs and handling training grants.
- HR Policies and Procedures : Reviewing and updating HR policies to ensure statutory compliance.
- New HR Initiatives : Assisting in the implementation of new HR processes or technologies.
- HR Reports : Preparing HR management reports.
- Ad-hoc HR Tasks : Being flexible to take on additional HR-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Educational Background : Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Studies, or related fields.
- Experience : At least 1 year of HR or administrative experience.
- Knowledge of Singapore's Employment Laws : Familiarity with MOM regulations, employee contract laws, compensation rules, and other relevant statutes.
- Safety Standards : Understanding of safety regulations in construction and manufacturing environments.
- Training Knowledge : Awareness of specific training programs required for various roles.
- Interpersonal Skills : Ability to effectively communicate and interact with workers at all levels.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, drafting letters, and, ideally, knowledge of InfoTech.
- Personality Traits : Responsible, meticulous, good team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
