1. Lead the effort to make sure that our processes and controls are in compliance with Accounting Procedures

2. Assure compliance to internal/external financial reporting and local tax legislation requirements correctness of primary documents and timely communicate current tax and accounting status and potential risks

3. Manage the team of direct reports, provide support and expertise to maintain high professional level of accounting team

4. Local accounting of Fixed Assets

5. Participate in Month end/year end processes including the preparation of journals and validation of balance sheet accounts and production of monthly financial statement

6. To supervise daily accounting operations assessing the likely impact of problems such as late payment and limited cash flow

7. Oversee the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

8. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and safeguarding of company assets

9. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and addressing any audit findings

10. Supervise the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.

12. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

13. Oversee the accounting for complex transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, ensuring they are accurately recorded and reported

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accountancy or similar, ACCA

2. Strong SAP, Excel

3. Knowledge of local accounting and tax legislation

4. Adequate professional experience focusing on finance/controlling especially accounting, finance, controlling is required

5. Min 10 years post-qualification in a multi-national company – complex accounting, preferably in a similar sector

6. Fluent in English, / or Mandarin a plus
