The Company

Our client is a leading owner and operator in the Oil & Gas and Infrastructure industry with assets in both developed and developing markets in Asia. As they continue with their expansion plans, they are seeking a Finance Director to be based in Singapore.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, risk, insurance, procurement and warehousing for the group. This will include ensuring smooth operations of finance activities such as monthly, quarterly and year end closing, billing, credit control, financial and statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis as well as liaising with external auditors and tax agents.

This is a highly visible role within the organization and you will take the lead in driving various projects involving system implementation, process automation and efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to support the senior management team in strategic planning and analysis as well as special projects involving merger and acquisition and/or tax optimization.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA, with at least 15 years of relevant experience handling the full spectrum of finance and accounting, of which 5 years in a leadership capacity. Exposure within the energy and infrastructure industry and prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm will be highly preferred. Prior experience in overseeing risk, insurance, procurement and warehousing will be an advantage.
