Full Job Description

As an Enterprise Sales Representative at Sales Innovation.io (SI.io), you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, prospecting and closing enterprise-level clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in our company's success. 

This is a remote role. To be eligible for this role, you MUST already possess the right to work in Malaysia. Currently, we are unable to sponsor local work visas/permits. 

Key Responsibilities   

  • Identify, prospect and close opportunities for an assigned pool of technology vendors. 
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate target market needs using solution-selling methodology. 
  • Drive sales deals end to end and progression of opportunities by collaborating with SDR, SE, and any available internal resource to ensure comprehensive coverage across all sales stages. 
  • Develop account strategies, including ideal customer profile, Account Based Marketing, leveraging tools and resources like SDR to drive targeted messaging and opportunity identification. 
  • Create customer relationships and accelerate engagements selling SI.io’s portfolio of software solutions to close enterprise license agreements.
  • Build and nurture a healthy pipeline and exceed/hit quota and revenue targets as allocated by SI.io management.
  • Conduct market analysis, monitor competitor activity and identify customer needs by employing structured sales methodologies like BANT, MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc. 
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations to customers and/or business partners (including represented Vendors) as needed.
  • Leverage, promote and collaborate with any vendors, existing Channels and Partners as appropriate.
  • Provide and support any go-to-market channel if/as it develops.
  • Contribute to SI.io’s lead generation and marketing event programs, e.g., industry events and forums in liaison with SI.io and Vendor Marketing.
  • Engage SI.io’s and represent Vendor’s resources effectively in the pursuit of business including marketing and pre-sales, and if necessary, product development for large-scale strategic opportunities.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Bigin CRM while creating satisfied customers.
  • Manage accounts to ensure full penetration of SI.io’s solutions portfolio within the target market.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience working for SaaS technology companies with a proven record of success.
  • Consistently ranked as a top performer and has a proven track record of exceeding lead and activity targets.
  • Skills across key solutions targeted at C-suite buyers – particularly for the Office of CFO, CEO, CIO, CISO, CTO, and Board members.
  • Thorough understanding of solution sales cycles and a successful track record in closing complex sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across all levels of a customer’s organisation while demonstrating understanding of their organisation, business model and the enterprise opportunities that exist and converting these opportunities to sales.
  • A strong track record of creating and maintaining an effective network within your markets and area of expertise that has allowed you to do business successfully.
  • Proven ability that not only demonstrates expertise around selling and consulting but also the ability to present and explain the technical elements of products or services.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills. Ability to coordinate the end-to-end activities from pre-sales through to post-sales to ensure excellent levels of service throughout the process.
  • Be technically astute with the ability to converse with both our technical engineers (and that of representative Vendors) and the customer.
  • Experience gathering competitive intelligence and delivering feedback from prospects and clients in the marketplace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills supported by exceptional facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of managing and organizing resources, taking ownership, accountability and responsibility to meet and or exceed deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team setting, collaborating effectively across the organisation and multiple time zones.
  • Excited and passionate about Sales Innovation.io’s story/mission/values.
  • Ability to travel if/as required.
  • A BS or BA level degree in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience with a preference for selling software and/or Enterprise software deployments.
  • History of managing large-sized clients with significant deal sizes and consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Ability to deliver and thrive within ambiguity.
  • Genuine commitment to providing solutions-based customer experiences.
  • Proactive, highly motivated and results-focused with the ability to deliver on promises.
  • Resourceful with a strong sense of professionalism.
  • An excellent command of English is required. Proficiency in an Asian language (Malay, Mandarin Chinese or Korean) will be advantageous.
