Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

My client, a rapidly expanding pharma company is looking out for a Director of quality - Pharma Products and CoE, for their business regions.

Details of the roles as mentioned below:

 Role Objectives:

• Ensure consistent high-quality standards for patients and consumers across our prescription products.
• Lead a team of Quality professionals overseeing Quality Operations for the prescription portfolio and products requiring elevated quality oversight.
• Coordinate process improvements from regional quality operations teams to enhance global quality processes.
• Oversee quality aspects of manufacturing and distribution partners related to prescription products.

Role Responsibilities:

• Leadership in Change and Transformation:
• Provide clear guidance to the global prescription products operations team to align quality operations with business objectives.
• Define and communicate clear objectives for the Global Prescription Products and Global Center of Excellence QA team, emphasizing the need for business acumen alongside quality perspectives.

Team Management:

• Ensure each QA member has a performance plan aligned with business and department objectives.
• Monitor and enhance QA team productivity, reporting progress to the executive management team through metrics.
• Foster partnerships between QA team members and the business to support overall business success.
• Direct operations of the QA operations group.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Act as an integral member of the Quality Ops Leadership team.
• Partner with various functional leaders to achieve business outcomes.

Additional Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to lead effectively through times of crisis and ambiguity.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Consumer Healthcare industry.
• Tertiary qualification (BSc or equivalent) in chemistry, pharmacy, or related discipline; post-graduate qualifications preferred (science or business).
• Strong background and expertise in quality management with a focus on overall business requirements.
