DIRECTOR, BUSINESS PARTNERS & EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

As Director, HR Business Partners & Employee Relations, you will lead a team of HRBPs to implement HR strategies and policies; oversee the HR operations including Talent Acquisition, Manpower Budgeting, Performance Management, Discipline management and Industrial / Employees relations across Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) and its subsidiaries to support the achievement of SDC’s strategic goals and foster a workplace environment consistent with SDC’s vision, culture, and values.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic HR Planning : Review and align HR workplans with the corporate goals and strategies. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives. Identify key HR priorities and initiatives to drive business success.
  • Business Partnership : Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to business unit leaders and provide leadership and expertise for HR functions encompassing recruitment strategies, talent acquisition, performance management, development and implementation of HR policies, HR governance, employee relations, disciplinary management, and other HR-related matters issues.
  • Employee Relations : Oversee employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Ensure compliance with Collective Agreement (CA), employment laws and regulations.
  • HR Policy and Compliance : Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and promote a fair and equitable work environment.
  • Leadership and Development : Provide leadership and direction to the HR business partner team. Coach and develop team members to build their capabilities and drive performance excellence.
  • Collaboration and Communication : Foster strong partnerships across the organization and effectively communicate HR initiatives, policies, and programs to all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; with at least 10 years professional experience in Human Resource in a large organizational and/or functional business unit. Experience in SG public sector is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to collaborate and team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and ability to be both strategic and hands-on.
