In 2020, PwC made a global science-based commitment to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The commitment includes supporting our clients to reduce their emissions as well as reducing those from the PwC network’s operations and suppliers. We are looking for aCorporate Sustainability (Net Zero) Senior Associate to be part of our responsible business team, who helps to deliver PwC Singapore's programmes across inclusion & diversity, wellbeing, culture & value and corporate responsibility and also the larger global Net Zero team.

You will be instrumental in driving our efforts and initiatives to achieve Net Zero by 2030. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop tools and campaigns to raise awareness and promote sustainability initiatives within PwC Singapore. Key roles and responsibilities would include:

  • Support the ESG Leader to achieve the Net Zero aim by 2030.

  • Manage periodic reporting, tracking and managing of data related to sustainability to develop strategy to reduce carbon emissions and for assurance reporting

  • Identify and evaluate emission reduction opportunities and pathways including organising and running programs to engage employees to drive positive change

  • Engage with key supply chain partners to review sustainability implications of material contracts

  • Manage effective communications strategy internally and externally including working with key relationship managers in maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders such as NGOs and clients (including members of the Singapore Low Carbon Network).

  • Design, drive and implement RB campaigns (i.e. Inclusion Week, Ecoweek, Wellbeing Week and Giving Week, Veganuary)

About you

  • Passionate about climate change and sustainability

  • Preferably a recent graduate in sustainability / environmental science / engineering / communications.

  • Knowledge of trends and best practice within people experience/human resources, particularly the areas of inclusion and diversity and wellbeing (employee mental health, development, engagement) 

  • Good interpersonal skills including strong communication skills, to develop good working relationships with stakeholders

  • Adaptable and agile to manage stakeholder requirements

  • Good project management and coordination skills to manage multiple projects

  • Deliver high quality work, in a conscientious and professional manner

  • Strong sense of responsibility, accountability and initiative

  • Proficient use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and preferably familiar with Google suite

  • Preferably with work experience from a large organisation/corporate
