Job Description:

PTV Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a self-motivated Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. The objective is to partner with clients in providing best-in-class software solutions to improve mobility in the Southeast Asia region.

Plan

  • Develop strategies for regional growth and new revenue streams.
  • Develop a road map for success.

Channel Partner Management

  • Lead channel partners in executing strategies.
  • Ensure targets are met.
  • Source for leads and opportunities for partners to pursue.

Business Growth

  • Develop and cultivate client relations and opportunities.
  • Develop a healthy stream of opportunities.
  • Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities to increase their account size.
  • Familiar with client requirements in various sectors such as government entities, academia and consulting firms.
  • Identify new industry segments for product adoption.

Who we are looking for

  • A self-motivated team player who enjoys building relations through understanding client needs.
  • Strong Business Development acumen.
  • Understanding of transport / traffic principles.
  • Experience in closing deals.
  • Applicants with experience in using PTV Software, transport planning or traffic engineering and modelling would be a plus.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Proficient in English. Other languages such as Mandarin, Malay will be a plus.
  • A team-player who can work well with colleagues from Germany, Singapore and channel partners in the region.

Requirements:

  • Years of experience: 5+years
  • Singaporean / PR.
  • Enjoy working in a highly energetic and close-knit team.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on business development, sales or traffic engineering.
  • Hunger for developing opportunities and sales.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated to help the team improve sales and pipeline.
