Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting)

Construction, Bukit Batok (5.5 alternate Saturday)

• Accounts Executive will support Financial Controller / Account Manager on financial operations of construction projects.
• This position involves assisting with various accounting tasks, Documentation, Filing, Scanning and bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to accurately maintain the company financial records and transactions.
• Ability or strong numerical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete assigned daily ledger entries, other financial transitions, collect and compile simple financial information, assist senior to prepare reports, accounting statements and statistics, these may include but not limited to balance sheets, statements, cash flow, debtor, creditor lists, payment schedules, regulatory reports and filings.

Responsibilities :

• Support Financial Controller in monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and optimize working capital management
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and collections.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for construction projects.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws
• Work closely with project managers to track project costs, analyze variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
• Manage change orders and contract amendments, ensuring accurate documentation and cost impact analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews.
• Implement and maintain financial systems and software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with the finance team to implement and improve to optimize accounting procedures and controls.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Provide administrative support i.e. printing, scanning & filing, book keeping, documentation to the finance department.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accounting or Business administration.
• Experience in construction accounting or related industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Good in relationship management
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

For past ten years, the company has undertaken and completed major government’s projects, for example, Land Transport Authority, Housing Development Board, Building and Construction Authority, Public Utility Board, Pasir Ris-Punggol Town Council, West Coast Town Council, Tanjong-Pagar Town Council. Besides above, we also undertake steel structure and strutting works. Our major main contractor includes Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd, Yong Nam Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd, China Construction (South Pacific) Development Co. Pte Ltd, Samsung C&T Corporation, TTJ Design & Engineering Pte Ltd.

In 2006, CCECC Singapore Pte Ltd achieved Quality Management System/Management System Certification ISO 9001:2008 and The Management System Certification OHSAS 18001:2007.

In 2011, CCECC Singapore Pte Ltd achieved the Environmental Management System Certification ISO 14001:2004.
