Project Management

• To resolve all technical and non-technical issues.
• To ensure the tracking and monitoring of items per contractual requirement.
• Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements and proposals.
• To ensure construction meeting client & regulatory requirements.
• To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress.
• To co-ordinate, program and monitor site work, materials, plant & equipment.

• Involving in providing value engineering solutions basing on his knowledge.
• To have knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (Recognized by PEB).
• Experience in leading a team or subcontractors would be advantageous.
• Versed in PUB(WRN) projects with more than 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is an advantage.

Site Engineer

Location: BUKIT BATOK (on site)

Working Days: Monday-Friday, 5 days (standby for Saturday if needed)

Working hours : 8:30am - 6:00pm

Salary : $2900-$3500

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Supervision & Coordination Take charge of project execution on site, ensuring works are carried out according to schedule and specifications
   Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, workers, and vendors to ensure smooth project progression
2. Site Testing & Quality Control Conduct and supervise various site tests (e.g., Non Destructive, Test, Plate Load Test, Structural Inspection) to ensure compliance with specifications
   Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project
3. Facade Inspection & Assessment Perform inspections and assessments of façade works, ensuring safety, alignment, and regulatory compliance
   Identify and report any defects or non-conformities, and coordinate necessary rectification works
4. Technical Support Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
   Resolve site issues and provide timely technical solutions
5. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection records, and progress updates
   Ensure proper documentation for testing, inspections, and approvals
6. Safety & Compliance Enforce site safety protocols and ensure all activities comply with workplace safety and health regulations
   Conduct safety briefings and monitor site safety conditions
7. Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities for inspections, approvals, and project updates
   Attend coordination meetings and ensure effective communication across all parties

Position Overview

The Vice President - Civil Engineering, Singapore is responsible for the design, construction and implementation of Data Centers across all regions, ensuring it meets the strict quality and expected performance levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain design standards, design prototypes, and template specifications related to site design.
• Provide technical analysis, advice and input in civil and structural design and capacities.
• Manage multiple fast paced projects simultaneously to ensure all projects are delivered within cost, quality and time parameters.
• Prepare budget estimates and manage the design and construction costs.
• Identify solutions prior to and during the construction process to reduce costs without compromising on quality or reliability
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external engineers, consultants and project partners.
• Discuss and negotiate with clients, consultants and government authorities for design approval.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 20 years of Civil Engineering experience in data center design and constructions
• Experience in warehouse or heavy industries factory construction is also welcomed.
• With international work exposure, especially in Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore and China is an advantage.
• In-depth understanding of local design standards and regulations.
• Strong network within data center ecosystem with regulatory authorities, business partners, vendors, suppliers, and clients etc. is an advantage.
• Result oriented and goal driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated strong stakeholder management capabilities to ensure the progression of projects
