Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) from an accredited college or university.
  2. Project Management Certification from an accredited society.
  3. At least 9 to 12 years of relevant experience in project control activities in a large power project preferably in a combined cycle Power Project.
  4. Good working knowledge of Primavera –P6/ MS Project software. Should be able to understand and develop S – Curves with earn value systems.
  5. Ability to prepare Project Reports for various project stakeholders.
  6. Good understanding of Power Plants preferably combined cycle plants. Should have worked “hands on” in a power plant project execution.
  7. Extensive knowledge and experience in monitoring the overall power project schedule activities at job site.

The Associate Director/Senior Associate Director reports to the Director (Campus Planning and Development) and is responsible for the management of SUSS’s Campus Development Project. The Associate Director/Senior Associate Director will need to plan, lead and manage the project, liaise with all key stakeholders, including the end User, to ensure project timeliness as well as efficient management of cost, safety and quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Director (Campus Planning and Development) in overseeing and managing the project, which encompasses the procurement, design development, consultancy and contracts management, commissioning and project handover to end User.
  • Liaise with end User on project requirements and coordinate on the interfacing aspects of the project with other developments.

Job Requirements

  • University with at least 20 years of relevant working experience as Project Manager preferably in public/developer organisations or consulting firms.
  • Relevant experience in leading and managing development projects.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement framework and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and positive working attitude.
  • Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
