Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution of 8 key tentpole F1 moments/events in the East

  • Possess a strong network of institutional, family office, and ultra-high-net-worth clients

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President to join the Brookfield Singapore office.   • Collaborate with functional teams and service providers to ensure clients’ requests and questions get addressed timely and properly, e.g. with marketing, operations, investments, legal, compliance, product management teams, external platform partners, etc.

Key contacts the individual will have on an ongoing basis:

  • Internal – Colleagues from the following departments: BOWS colleagues, Investments, Global Client Group, Marketing, Investor Relations, Project Management Teams, Legal and Compliance, HR, Finance and more.

  • External – Private wealth/intermediary distributors within Singapore and Southeast Asia

Qualification/Experience required :

  • Relevant client facing experience within the private wealth management channels

  • At least 7 years’ experience in client facing roles for the private wealth/intermediary sales channel

  • Solid financial product knowledge, experience in alternatives is a plus

  • A passion for the markets and having a growth mindset

  • Great attention to details, a responsible person with strong work ethics and a positive attitude

  • Be able to stretch into any area and take ownership of delegated tasks to support team’s goals

  • A multi-tasker that can prioritize and manage their time effectively

  • Strong team player, with a collaborative nature to be a culture fit for Brookfield

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity

  • Appropriate degree in business/accounting/ finance

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English

  • Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in dealings with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

  • Organized and detail oriented.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including preparation and delivery of presentations.

About The Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

You will be managing a portfolio of customers, responsible for the growth of Current and Savings Account deposits, generate interest income and fees income through cross-selling of Cash Management Solutions, Treasury products eg Structured Deposits, Maxi-yield, Foreign Exchange and Bancassurance products. You are also required to acquire new to bank customers through marketing/ promotion initiatives and working closely with strategic partners within and outside of the bank. The job scope further includes handling any servicing and KYC/AML/Sanction-related matters pertaining to the portfolio.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Banking & Finance preferably with some credit and marketing experience in handling local SME businesses
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen and able to deliver targets
  • Dedicated, self-driven and highly-motivated
  • Ability to cope with high volume of workload and to multi-task
