The Manager, Sales Operations, plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day execution of customer and partner requirements. This individual leads a team responsible for delivering on key operational activities such as generating quotes and processing customer purchase orders. The Manager ensures that the team meets performance goals and that processes run smoothly to support business objectives.
In this role, the Manager is a primary point of escalation for team members and is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team delivers consistent results. The Manager is also tasked with developing employee compensation plans, conducting performance assessments, and fostering a collaborative environment that drives productivity and operational excellence.
This role requires a deep understanding of internal systems, sales processes, and operational strategies to ensure the team's success in meeting customer needs and achieving departmental objectives.
**Responsibilities Include:**
+ **Team Leadership & Development:**
+ Lead and manage a team responsible for executing daily operational tasks, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of customer requirements.
+ Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering a positive and high-performance environment.
+ Develop employee compensation plans and complete annual Employee Assessments to ensure growth and development within the team.
+ **Operational Execution:**
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all tasks, including generating quotes and processing orders, are executed efficiently.
+ Analyze team performance and processes to identify areas for improvement, implementing new procedures as needed.
+ **KPI & Performance Management:**
+ Monitor team performance through key metrics, using data analysis to drive improvement and ensure alignment with departmental goals.
+ Track and report team performance to Sales Operations leadership, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and output.
+ **Escalation Management:**
+ Act as the primary point of escalation for team issues, resolving customer and partner problems quickly to maintain satisfaction.
+ Develop protocols for handling escalations to ensure consistent and timely resolution of issues.
+ **Collaboration & Communication:**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and finance, to ensure alignment with broader business goals and seamless execution of operations.
+ Communicate operational updates, performance metrics, and key issues to senior management.
+ **Process Improvement:**
+ Identify opportunities to enhance team operations by implementing more efficient processes and leveraging internal systems for better workflow.
+ Ensure that all team members are trained on new systems and processes to maintain consistency in operational performance.

**Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of experience in sales operations or sales support, with leadership experience.
+ Strong experience in managing operational processes and ensuring team success through training and development.
+ Ability to analyze data and drive decisions based on performance metrics.
+ Proficiency with CRM systems, data tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

**What will you be doing?**
As Consulting Solutions Architect (CSA) you will support our key Enterprise customers across Singapore and APAC and the account teams, working as the technical representative for WWT service offerings in these Enterprise accounts. Working in conjunction with the Sales and Business Development team members, you will work with our customers to determine their business and technical requirements and then scope, price, and sell solutions that best address them - ensuring they receive tailored solutions that meet and exceed their requirements.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Create and document a Client Architecture Plan that outlines key areas for discovery in a templated and programmatic manner, for a subset of WWT's customers, and update this plan quarterly.
+ Work closely with clients and the WWT Sales team to gain a profound understanding of customer technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into tailored WWT opportunities and IT solutions.
+ Engage in technical pre-sales engineering - leverage your technical expertise to understand client challenges and position solutions that not only meet but surpass customer requirements across a range of technologies.
+ Work with Enterprise customers, WWT extended team resources, and OEM partners to develop solutions around those priorities, challenges, and initiatives.
+ Take responsibility for the development and quality of pre-sales technology solution deliverables within the domain of sales opportunities, including technical proposals, architectural diagrams, and service scopes.
+ Actively participate in requirements and scoping workshops with customers, delivery partners, and Sales.
+ Work with pre-sales Client Executives to establish and deploy solutions to meet changing customer needs and demands; support the business case development of new services to supply leadership with profitability and TCO analysis.
+ Coordinate solution development by leveraging best practices and researching customized solutions.
+ Partner with WWT internal resources to create statements of work, respond to RFPs, identify contracting opportunities, and develop customer pricing.
+ Assist with performing technical screenings of contractors and PS engineers for specific engagements to ensure the right candidates are assigned to projects.
+ Act as a trusted advisor for the Engineering team, offering guidance on architecture and leading other consultants on solutions and optimization services.
+ Provide consultative support for enterprise solutions, covering a spectrum of technologies.
+ Develop and foster strong relationships with strategic OEMs and key services partners local to your region and territory, as well as with customer technical management and teams.
+ Ensure effective coordination and support between account teams and post-sale technical resources.
+ Ensure that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer; this can include assisting project managers with technical project management for our more complex projects.
+ Identify services opportunities and work with the team to propose solutions and engagements across the WWT portfolio.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ 10-15 years of industry experience in client-side senior roles, technology integrators, or manufacturers, with architectural and technical experience across applications, infrastructure, cyber, cloud, networking, data center, and end user experience solutions.
+ Deep skills and knowledge as a subject matter expert in two or more critical parts of infrastructure.
+ Ideally, strong application development technology and application architecture history, with an understanding of current trends and migration strategies.
+ Industry-level certifications including CCDE, CCIE, CISSP, CDP, MCSE, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
+ Experience consulting with Fortune 500 IT leadership on the deployment of technology solutions, ideally in a sales environment.
+ Ideally, experience working with clients on digital transformation and operating model design and deployment.
+ Architectural training and/or experience in common methodologies including TOGAF, UAM, etc.
+ Familiarity with Big Data, AI, automation, end user experience, and service management technologies, along with cloud technologies including containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native services, storage, networking, and commercial models at a high level.
+ Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and presentation skills, with an understanding of the business impact of technology decisions.

+ 12+ years of experience leading largescale technology or transformation programs, with at least 5 years in a senior delivery leadership role.
+ Proven success delivering multitower programs across infrastructure, cloud, security, or application domains.
+ Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex governance structures.
+ Deep understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, waterfall), PMO governance, and operational frameworks.
+ Demonstrated financial acumen including P&L ownership, forecasting, and commercial management.
+ Experience leading large, matrixed teams across consulting, engineering, and operations.
**Preferred**
+ Experience at a Big 4 or toptier consulting firm.
+ Familiarity with WWT's core technology partners (Cisco, Dell, NetApp, VMware, AWS, Microsoft, Google, Palo Alto, F5, etc.).
+ Industry expertise in sectors such as energy, healthcare, financial services, or service provider.
+ Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or relevant certifications (PMP, SAFe, ITIL, cloud certifications).
