Job summary

This role is an integral part of the TLC new business formula. The Marketing Managers are responsible for the very first contact clients have with the TLC brand. They have a very exciting role helping influence the very first spark of contact, whether that's through email campaigns, when finding us on Google, or reading about TLC’s latest promotion.


We’re looking for a commercial marketer who can identify new business opportunities and create award winning B2B campaigns to get TLC in the room with the world’s biggest brands.


There are three key functions of this role: lead generation (measured in qualified meetings) reputation and brand management and reporting and data management.


Lead Generation

· Building an integrated B2B marketing plan across on and offline channels based on internal and external insights to generate inbound leads

· Multichannel activity to include email marketing, content writing, Direct Mail, SEO, Social Media, PR, website analytics and events

· Management of the marketing CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) to build integrate customer journeys for a fluid and impactful marketing campaign.

· Working closely with the sales team, allocating leads and following through the entire process to ensure lead to meeting and opportunity is established

· Writing insightful creative briefs to create campaigns

· Part management of the telemarketing team (joint responsibility with business director) driving conversions from lead to meeting

· Tracking successes, learning’s and ROI on all campaigns

· Motivating the telemarketing and sales team to follow key initiatives

· Being the global share point for the sales team – sharing best practice updating them on opportunities from our global pipeline and creating marketing campaigns to help open doors

· Ensuring the sales team have the global tools they need at each stage of the sales process


Reputation and brand management

· Managing the TLC Marketing local website, including creation of content and generating traffic

· Enter awards, thinking strategically about what we enter and which awards have the most value for clients

· Making sure we’re a member of all relevant associations and that we’re making the most out of our membership benefits

· Building journalist relationships - get TLC in the press!

· Monitor, maintain and raise brand standards across everything that leaves the building

· Implement changes from Group regarding new sales materials

· Ensure every piece of communication is both on brand and to the highest quality possible

· Report issues and quality failings to the MD with a plan on how to rectify

Data and reporting

· Management of the client and customer database, ensure quality data already in existence, cleansing of the data where appropriate and using our own data to our advantage for all marketing campaigns

· Reporting of the entire marketing function on a monthly and quarterly basis to the local board

Job Purpose

You will support our Business Development team win business. The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Sales or Account Executive with digital marketing background. You will be good at generating new leads by reaching out to potential clients on LinkedIn, via email or cold call. You will be good at developing content for proposal decks and marketing campaigns across multiple channels, which includes and is not limited to social media, email marketing, direct mailers, activations, special events and press releases.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary

As a TLC Account Manager (AM) you will be responsible for the management of key clients and their projects. The Account Manager will report to the COO and manage a portfolio of clients. As part of the Account Management team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery, performance and evaluating of campaigns across a wide range of sectors. This includes the management of tech teams, reporting, weekly contact with your clients and being commercially focused. Key Responsibilities

Job Purpose -

To develop new commercial business relationships leading to the generation of new income for the company. This will involve identifying new markets and business opportunities across the region. To grow existing relationships with clients to achieve further sales and maximise revenue.

Job purpose

To project manage TLC campaigns from start through to completion and provide an excellent, ongoing service to clients, offering guidance and advice that results in successful campaign delivery. To build effective relationships with clients. To support the sales team with client pitches and bids and achieve repeat business through developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.

Core Deliverables

Project Management

  • Take ownership of accounts and ensure delivery against all targets set
  • Project manage the production and development of campaigns from brief to fulfilment and ensure they are delivered on time, to budget and in line with customer service agreements
  • Manage and implement agreed projects, write creative copy, approve all creative briefs, proposals, printed and digital materials and ensure that written approval is given by the client before going to print
  • Brief internal departments as appropriate, including sales, product development, design, web development and concierge
  • Produce timing schedules for internal and external parties and ensure they are followed or adjusted where necessary
  • To manage all campaign and third party information from the design to print
  • Provide the optimum level of resources to meet project requirements whilst maximising the profitability of each account
  • Source, brief, manage external suppliers, including printers, handling houses, translations
  • Identify keylearning’s from campaigns and apply to future campaigns, and share with colleagues

Client Handling

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients through regular contact, minimum of once a week, and build trust
  • Have face to face contact with the client wherever possible
  • Evaluate promotion effectiveness and review individual campaign performance against client objectives and attend any post-evaluation meetings with the client
  • To anticipate and identify any potential problems and provide effective solutions
  • Understand and liaise with other business units within TLC to provide the client with the appropriate mix of disciplines where required
  • Determine and work to the clients preferred methods of communication and attend all client meetings and direct formal presentations as appropriate

  • Act as an ambassador for clients services for TLC external clients and internal departments

Sales Support

  • To identify and act on any opportunities to develop further business with existing and new clients; sell through excellent customer relationship skills
  • Work with the sales team to support bids and assist them with pitches including job costing
  • Keep sales team updated at key stages in the campaign delivery process

Commercial

  • Ensure that payment arrangements and billing schedules are agreed before any work commences and that the arrangement is enforced, and assist with cash collection from the client
  • Estimate profit level on all projects and ensure each one is delivered with minimum back end cost
  • Fully understand TLC’s terms of business
  • Optimise the profitability of campaigns and ensure promotions adhere to legal regulations

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience of delivering a consistently high standard of service in line with client expectations and provide valuable advice and guidance. Perceptive to client needs, able to adapt to change and quickly resolves any problems to the satisfaction of the client
  • Considerable experience in managing large scale client facing projects; managing workflows; using available resources to best effect; and monitoring quality
  • Practiced in developing effective working relationships with clients and knows how to influence others at all levels resulting in successful outcomes that are mutually beneficial to all parties. Able to build valuable relationships with internal work colleagues; provides support where needed; shares information, knowledge and ideas and treats people with respect
  • Takes a commercial view when decision making in order to maximise the value to be gained from campaigns. Has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and remains aware of what competitors are doing.
