SUMMARY

  • We are seeking a highly analytical, self-driven and organised individual to join us as Digital Project Manager to work on exciting Digital Transformation Projects.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of key digital transformation projects to achieve the company's growth objectives.
  • The appointed candidate will also work closely with the Technology & Data leadership team and business stakeholders to develop and deliver engaging and interactive customer-facing solutions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure projects & enhancements are delivered successfully within budget, on schedule and adhere to internal policies, processes & standards such as contract management, Agile / SDLC and cybersecurity etc.
  • Collaborate with team members both within T&D (across App, Infra, Network, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data etc.) and business stakeholders and manage vendors to deliver projects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate actively with business users to understand existing challenges, propose potential improvements / alternative solutions and technologies to bring about high-quality data-led transformative solutions.
  • Work on integration, analysis and assessment of plans and strategies across multiple projects.
  • Anticipate, manage, negotiate and mitigate project risks effectively to ensure deliverables are on track.
  • Identify, manage and resolve complex issues and raise escalations timely, where necessary.
  • Provide secretariat support for meetings at various organizational levels (i.e. Group, Department, and Project), which includes but is not limited to coordination, preparing presentation decks and minutes taking.
  • Provide support in conducting Feasibility Studies, Industry Benchmarking / Research and Pilots.

  • Strong project management skills (across all project management disciplines).
  • Good business acumen to negotiate with business counterparts and vendors.
  • Exhibits strong vendor management skills.
  • Flexibility to prioritise multiple demands in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with good appreciation of business needs and strong experience in digital build.
  • Candidates with more relevant experiences may be appointed at Senior Manager level.
  • Industry certifications in the following or equivalent will be a plus. (i.e. PMP, CITPM, Agile, SCRUM, COBIT, ITIL Change Management, Lean, Six-sigma, Design Thinking etc).
  • Experience in the following technology platforms:
  • Salesforce (marketing cloud, loyalty cloud, data cloud)
  • Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEM CS) - (AEM CS Assets, Sites, dynamic media etc)

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, the Business Controller will support the Group’s strategic finance and growth agenda, with a focus on M&A, investment evaluation, financial due diligence, business case development, financial modelling, performance management and governance.

  • Prior experience in M&A, valuation, financial due diligence, corporate development, transaction advisory, internal audit or Big 4 audit/advisory will be advantageous.
  • Strong financial modelling capability, with ability to assess investment returns, deal viability, sensitivities, risks and commercial implications.

  • Support event managers with event day operations, offering proactive assistance while retaining strong decision-making skills and reactive management when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure effective coordination and cooperation.

Customer Service

  • Assist with customer service initiatives, setting the standard for exceptional service throughout the venue.
  • Develop and implement strategies with SIS Senior Manager/Venue Lead to ensure customers are always served to the highest standards of customer care.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture among the team, emphasizing the importance of delivering outstanding service at all touch points.
  • Handle guests inquiries and concerns, resolving issues in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
  • Continuously monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement improvements based on feedback and insights.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the overall fan experience at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
  • Implement best practices operational and service standards to ensure consistent excellence in customer service.


Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Monitor and track expenses from the approved budget throughout the year, ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Identify cost effective solutions and efficiencies to optimize financial resources.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including budget performance analysis and forecasts.
  • Adhere to the venue policies and procedures to prepare financial reports and event related documents.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Provide financial recommendations to the SIS Venue Lead and management team to drive business growth and financial sustainability.


Requirements


  • Bachelivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience within event operations and planning, or the management of an arena, Stadium or mixed entertainment environment.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience with team management, demonstrating leadership and the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
  • Proven industry experience, with a strong background in major events either locally or internationally.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management, including creating and managing event budgets, and ensuring cost effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities


Stakeholder Engagement


  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams from Sports Business Development & Major Events, Fans and Community Engagement, Venues, Brand and Marketing to increase stakeholder engagement touchpoints/opportunities.
  • Support the planning and successful execution of annual corporate engagement events involving stakeholders and partners.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and partners, including regular communication, reporting, and partnership evaluation.
  • Identify new stakeholder engagement opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Gather feedback from partners and stakeholders to continuously improve partnership programs and engagement strategies.
  • Track and analyse partnership performance metrics, including ROI, to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work with identified stakeholder groups such as grassroots organisations, government agencies, corporate entities, non-profit organisations to drive The Kallang Group’s (TKG) related causes, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives etc.
  • Cultivate relations with CSR partners and grow TKG’s network of CSR partners by proactively identifying, engaging, and maintaining meaningful partnerships
  • Track and maintain accurate records of TKG-wide CSR initiatives and support the preparation of reports on organisation-wide CSR efforts
  • Prior experience in fundraising activities and efforts for CSR causes will be advantageous
  • Assist in ad hoc, special projects or corporate events as required by the Head of department


Stakeholder Invitations and Events


Lead in providing administrative assistance, coordination and event day execution:

  • Draft invitations and detailed administrative notes/programmes to Guest-of Honour (GOH) and senior guests for events at The Kallang and ensure materials are well prepared according to protocol standards.
  • Coordinate with internal Business Units (BUs) and manage a master database of updated stakeholders/partners
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of event invitations, guest RSVPs, and the distribution of tickets/passes for events at The Kallang using a centralized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and coordinating with internal business units
  • Prior experience is using CRM system for event RSVP management will be advantageous


Stakeholder Site Visits


  • Play a support role in coordinating with internal teams and visiting parties to facilitate site visits by corporates, foreign visitors and other strategic partners.


Qualifications


  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as events and hospitality management, business management, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement responsibilities, with a strong track record of driving and delivering outcomes
  • Passion and experience in dealing with CSR initiatives with fundraising background will be advantageous
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written skills, high proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments, visitors and other stakeholders
  • Self-starter, adaptable to change, and able to work under pressure and to meet tight timelines
  • Willingness to learn and develop capabilities, and to acquire and share new knowledge
  • Strong team player with a pleasant disposition and can-do attitude
