We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Lead, Social Engagement to spearhead social media strategy for So Drama! Entertainment – across our lifestyle & entertainment app Kakee, our digital music brands POWER 98 and 88.3 JIA, as well as Music & Drama Company. This role is perfect for a senior social media expert who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and is passionate about engaging audiences through compelling digital content. The Social Engagement team is part of the Creative Innovation Department – and sits within the wider Creative & Content group. As the Team Lead, Social Engagement you will play a key role in growing and engaging audiences across multiple platforms, ensuring our brands remain at the forefront of digital entertainment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to drive brand awareness, audience engagement and user growth for the organization as well as our bouquet of lifestyle and entertainment brands
- Oversee content planning and publishing across platforms i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc., ensuring consistency and high-quality execution.
- Set KPIs for organic engagement, reach and community growth, optimizing performance through data-driven decisions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a multi-functional team of content producers, community managers, and data analysts – as well as guide and manage vendors and freelancers as required – to drive engagement and storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development & Marketing team to integrate paid and organic social media efforts for maximum impact.
- Foster a creative and data-informed culture within the team, ensuring high performance and innovation.
Content Development & Audience Engagement:
- Oversee the creation of compelling, platform-specific content e.g. short-form videos, social graphics, trends, live streams, etc. to engage diverse audience segments.
- Work with community managers to ensure timely and authentic engagement with followers, responding to trends and audience interactions in real time.
- Develop and execute influencer partnerships and user-generated content campaigns with the Business Development & Marketing team to amplify reach.
Data-Driven Optimization:
- Leverage insights from data measurement and analysis to refine content strategy, optimize engagement and improve conversion rates.
- Monitor trends, audience behaviors and social listening data to stay ahead of industry changes and audience preferences.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders on social media performance and emerging opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work cross-functionally within Creative & Content and with Product, Tech, Business Development & Marketing and other internal stakeholders to meet social engagement KPIs
- Partner Ideation Lab – our in-house creative design team – in participating in external client pitches when required, focusing on effective and appropriate social engagement strategies and ideas.
- Represent the organization and the Social Engagement team at/in industry events, partnerships and media opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Digital Media/Communications or a related field.
- A digital/creative leader with 8+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing or content strategy; ideally for media, entertainment or lifestyle brands.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, balancing creativity with data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics, audience insights and content performance metrics; working knowledge of Brandwatch will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with content creation, community management and social storytelling across multiple platforms.
- Experience working with paid social strategies in collaboration with a Marketing team.
- Knowledge of trends, algorithms and platform best practices for engagement and growth.
- Passion for media, entertainment and digital content – with a deep understanding of Singapore’s cultural and linguistic landscape.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus; to oversee both English and Mandarin music brand content.

Job Description
- To build and manage an internal team of visual effect artistes and motion graphics designers.
- To schedule, track, and project manage design, motion graphic, and VFX assignments includes evaluating episodes for delivery timing and evaluation.
- Act as the main point of contact for graphics/VFX-related questions and requests.
- To coordinate with fellow team leads to ensure proper resourcing, scheduling, and execution for every project.
- Manage projects concurrently and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule, evaluating and manage priorities when creative, air dates, or other variables are in flux.
- Sourcing for external individuals or vendors for specialized or overflow projects.
- Identify capability gaps in the team and work with HR to design team’s training map to build capability and assist in hiring new staff team members as needed.
- Oversee maintenance and distribution of style guides and font libraries.
- Collaborate with Production, editors, VFX artists, and motion graphics designers before and during post production by providing creative and technical guidance and feedback as needed and be a through line from start of graphics/VFX workflow to delivery.
- Coordinate with Production Management team by providing motion graphics and VFX timelines and costs for accurate budgeting and pricing.
- Review motion graphic content throughout the post process and provide quality-control feedback during a project.
- Perform quality control over the team's VFX and motion graphics output to ensure all deliverables meet creative, technical, and broadcast quality standards prior to delivery
- Manage schedule and fulfil fast-paced project timeframes.
- Ensure all graphics assets and deliverables are correctly archived and accessible.
- Oversee and maintain the operational readiness of the VFX & Motion Graphics team by ensuring software, hardware, plugins, asset libraries, workflows, and production pipelines remain functional, up-to-date, and optimized for production.
- Keeping track of industry trends and software/tool updates and present the information to senior management for evaluation for future implementation where necessary.
- Drive the adoption and effective use of AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance VFX and motion graphics production workflows, improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate content delivery while maintaining creative quality.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in design Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Effects or a related field (or related experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in animation, motion graphics and visual effects and leading of team members
- Proven experience in VFX & MoGraph production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide the team effectively.
- Proficiency in VFX and Realtime software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Autodesk 3D Studio Max, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop or relevant tools.
- Extensive experience in Unreal Engine.
- Able to provide creative inputs and guidance for assigned projects and incoming request for quotations
- A passion for pushing visual boundaries and a creative mindset.
- An interest in using AI tools to support VFX & MoGraph productions.
- Able to communicate effectively and manage with clients directly
- And preferably, experience in Virtual Production with LED display technology and Unreal Engine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Management
- Be a part of the team overseeing and managing the social media accounts of So Drama! Entertainment, Kakee – our new lifestyle and entertainment app, and radio stations – POWER 98 and 88.3 JIA – ensuring consistency and versatility in tone, branding, and messaging across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Community Engagement:
- Actively interact with audiences, respond to comments and messages, and spark conversations to foster a strong and engaged online community.
- Address audience concerns professionally, manage brand reputation online, and escalate potential issues when necessary.
Content Creation & Campaign Execution
- Ideate, develop and produce engaging, shareable, and trend-driven content across platforms and emerging channels in line with a robust content calendar.
- Plan and execute creative social media campaigns, contests and interactive activities to drive engagement, downloads and other success factors.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategies and enhance audience engagement.
Partner Collaborations & Paid Advertising:
- Identify and engage with influencers, creators and brand ambassadors to expand reach and enhance brand credibility.
