Job Description

You will independently perform all general and certain specialised radiographic examinations such as ultrasound and other imaging modalities of diagnostic quality with due regard to patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology. Your role will include supervising student radiographers, leading Quality Improvement projects and coordinating with other staff and clinicians on radiographic-related issues. You will also be responsible for quality control programmes and maintenance of imaging equipment and accessories. Depending on your area of interest and availability of roles, you can specialise in advanced imaging such as Computerised Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound or Mammography in both inpatient and outpatient settings or assist in procedures such as Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).


Requirements

  • Recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Registered or eligible for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration
  • Candidates with at least 2-3 years in Interventional Radiography (IR) or RISPACS management experience will have an advantage for cardiac radiography
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Candidates with supervisory experience may be considered for the senior position
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply as on-the-job training will be provided

Role Summary

Auditory-Verbal Therapy is an approach that combines the specialty of audiology, speech and language pathology, as well as deaf education, with the aim of helping children with hearing loss develop spoken language through listening, enabling them to thrive in mainstream environments.

Through formal and informal diagnostic assessments, the Auditory-Verbal Therapist (AVT) makes individualised intervention plans and provides early intervention services to infants and children.


The AVT works well with a multidisciplinary team and would advocate for the child's integration into mainstream education. Besides coaching parents and caregivers in the use of Auditory-Verbal techniques and strategies, the AVT also helps adults with hearing loss manage their use of hearing technology to maximise their hearing potential.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our dynamic team as a Senior Manager/ Manager in Research and Innovation Fund Management. This role will provide comprehensive strategic financial oversight, fund management, stakeholder management and leadership and administrative oversight to support SGH's research and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategic Oversight for Research and Innovation Funds and Grants:

· Assist the Research and Innovation Director and Deputy Director to oversee and manage RIO's finances and funds/ grants

· Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support senior management decision-making

· Monitor utilization and project cashflow to optimize resource management for various research and innovation initiatives

· Develop funding proposals for strategic grants and/or initiatives

Fund Management for Grants:

· Manage the NMRC Centre Grant (CG) funds, including coordinating with Research and Innovation Programmes, Peaks and Enablers

· Work with investigators to prepare project costings and budgets

· Track hiring requisitions for research/innovation-funded positions

· Monitor and ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions

Stakeholder Management and Leadership:

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Investigators, innovators, Programmes/Peaks/Enablers, HR and Finance)

· Manage relationships and liaise with SingHealth Office of Research and external funding agencies

· Supervise and mentor a team of executives in fund management

Administrative Oversight:

· Review purchase requisitions and claims

· Ensure compliance with institutional guidelines and funding regulations

· Coordinate implementation of systems and policies


Required Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

· Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent

· Minimum 6 years of finance/accounting/administration experience in healthcare, academic and/or research settings

· Proven track record in financial/grant planning and analysis

· Experience working with national grant funding agencies

· Proficiency in SAP systems
