MAIN PURPOSE

The Marketing Executive will actively participate in driving Drunk Elephant and Fragrance brands’ growth in the Asia Pacific Travel Retail market by supporting the team on the roll-out of all trade initiatives, as well as business monitoring.


KEY RESPONSBILITIES

Operational Marketing & Trade Support

Involved in the planning & execution of trade activations to support new launches & brand’s key bets – including animations, events and digital campaigns – in accordance with brands’ guidelines:

  • Support in-store animations roll-out from end to end, liaising with internal and external parties.
  • Provide the Digital Marketing team with creative briefs to roll-out e-retailer digital initiatives (e.g., social media posts, homepage banners, shop-in-shop upgrade).
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Commercial, Visual Merchandising, Pricing teams) to ensure smooth roll-out of key launches both online and on-counter.
  • Responsible for planning & tracking of POSM usage based on trade plan & regions’ needs.
  • Update Marketing calendars, Assortment files, and prepare seasonal Marketing Books for retailers’ seasonal presentations.
  • Support the team in daily operations follow-up (e.g., stock fulfilment, quality issues, or any trade-related matter).
  • Lead the development of brand collaterals (e.g., on-counter tools, brochures, gift boxes).


Forecasting, Sales Monitoring & Reporting

  • Support the forecasting process of Gift with Purchase (GWP) and samples with the right level of analysis/insights, in collaboration with Demand planning & Commercial teams.
  • Tracking of promotions implementation.
  • Support monthly business monitoring (analysis of sell-in and sell-out by region, brand lines, customers and top SKUs) & reporting to Brand teams/Headquarter.
  • Analyse launch and TREX performance. Provide insights and analysis with the aim of improving brand’s performance.
  • Keep abreast of competitors activities & consumer trends in the Asia regions.


Other Administrative Support

  • Maintenance of master data files, product samples ordering, raising of purchase requisitions and any other administrative duties assigned.
  • Support the team on monthly meetings / presentations.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a recognized university degree, preferably in Marketing / Business.
  • At least 1- 3 years of relevant working experience and prior experience in cosmetics / beauty and/or Travel Retail industry will have an advantage.

MAIN PURPOSE

The Graphic Design intern will report to the Graphic Design Assistant Manager and be a part of a dynamic team supporting multiple brands under Shiseido Travel Retail. This role offers hands-an exposure to Brand & Marketing, Retail Design Excellence, Corporate Communications, and close collaboration with HQ. You will be given the opportunity to support the conceptualisation, visualisation, and execution of creative assets across various platforms, contributing to TR marketing campaigns and TREX initiatives. Successful candidates should possess good technical design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a foundational understanding of marketing and brand principles.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Conceptualisation & Execution

  • Support the conceptualisation, visualisation, and execution of creative graphic design work including mood boards, flat layouts, videos, and 3D perspectives.
  • Generate new creative ideas and concepts in collaboration with the Graphic Design Assistant Manager, staying on top of trends and on-brand aesthetics.
  • Ensure all creative outputs embody the brand’s personality and tonality, maintaining consistency and excellence in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Assist in overseeing Travel Exclusive (TREX) designs, production and shoots across brand clusters within Shiseido Travel Retail.


Asset Development, Adaptation & Collaboration

  • Perform visual cropping and adaptation across channels including print, OOH, and digital platforms.
  • Edit visuals and support video adaptation, storyboarding, and basic motion editing where required.
  • Create marketing materials such as campaign collaterals, in-store POP, signages and brochures, and presentation decks.
  • Partner with Brand & Marketing teams to translate campaign strategies into effective visual assets.
  • Communicate creative objectives clearly and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver assets on time.
  • Assist in managing quotations and production schedules.
  • Manage multiple creative project workflows and timelines under supervision.
  • Organise and maintain design files and asset libraries.
  • Provide ad-hoc project support such as event invitation creation and other administrative tasks as required.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergrad degree/diploma in Arts, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Communication or other related discipline.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of other design applications is a plus.
  • Strong graphic design skill (2D and 3D)
  • Good understanding creative design principles, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

MAIN PURPOSE

In this role, you will lead efforts to develop and implement global travel retail business strategies that align with Shiseido Group's vision and goals. This includes integrating Shiseido Travel Retail’s (STR) mid to long-term plans and various business objectives across commercial, financial, brand, and capability domains. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the Future of Travel Retail (TR) and global TR market implications – conduct structured, hypothesis-driven research and in-depth quantitative analysis on market developments and competitive landscape, leverage consumer and retailer insight to develop and refine STR’s strategic vision and priorities.
  • Align on global and cross-regional business strategies – facilitate agenda and discussions within STR and China-TR zone, with HQ, Brandholders, and other Regions’ Strategy teams to align and implement Group strategies, identifying dependencies, synergies and internal partnerships to achieve business objectives.
  • Translate business strategies into business plans – work closely with all TR markets and functional leaders to formulate medium to long-term STR business strategies, including distribution and brand portfolio mix, aligning TR markets, financial and brand management goals, and develop the requisite roadmap and KPIs.
  • Develop business case for new markets / investments – work closely with TR markets, Commercial, Marketing, and Finance teams on investments / new business opportunities to expand business distribution, gain market share, or rationalize market presence for profitability, aligned with mid to long term STR business strategies.
  • Integrate STR strategic and business planning cycle and HQ submission – support the articulation of the annual/ quarterly LE and budget planning cycle, and integrate TR markets, brands and financial goals in alignment to the mid-term plan and commitment to Plan.
  • Frame and communicate strategic priorities – communicate strategic direction, discuss strategic initiatives and projects, define roadmap and R&R to implement the business strategies and projects, through internal workshops, townhalls, taskforces. Independently produce clearly storylined, executive-ready presentations and analyses that translate complex topics into a compelling narrative and drive senior-leadership decisions.
  • Support STR Leadership Team and line manager on adhoc topics/ projects in collaboration with various departments at STR.


REQUIREMENTS

  • A recognized degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management or an equivalent field in business studies.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional working experience, preferably with a strong foundation in top-tier management consulting (engagement manager level or equivalent), combined with in-house strategy roles.
  • Prior experience independently leading strategy projects or workstreams end-to-end is required; experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Travel Retail, Beauty or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
  • Ability to think critically and clearly articulate the “big picture”
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research to develop insights and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to define and differentiate symptomatic and root causes, and facilitate solution development
  • Ability to independently structure and produce clear, compelling, executive-ready presentations (slides / decks); a strong storyline and slide-writing capability is essential for this role

MAIN PURPOSE

The Regulatory Affairs Registration Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end regulatory-related registration activities to support the timely launch, export, and compliance of skincare, makeup, and fragrance products to Thailand and Malaysia. He/she will render support to the regulatory affairs team.


He/she will lead and manage registration data compilation and submissions for multiple brands and will be responsible for tracking launch timelines with commercial and various marketing teams to ensure timely product registration. Working at the intersection of regulatory compliance and launch execution, this role requires proactive engagement with multiple brand and marketing teams, commercial team and external stakeholders namely retailers, regulatory authorities, vendors, and Shiseido’s global/regional regulatory community.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end coordination process to obtain product registration datasets from multiple brand and marketing teams for 7-10 brands including, half-yearly assortment lists, GWP plans, product names, barcodes, volumes, packshots, artworks, launch season and dates.
  • Coordinate with sales/commercial team on launch timelines for respective markets and follow-up on sales related documentation for Thailand and Malaysia retailers
  • Streamline and implement workflow to follow-up on missing datasets from multiple stakeholders and reduce turnaround time from data request to submission
  • Liaise with in-house regulatory team to perform technical reviews for individual products of 7-10 brands according to local regulations on formulas, ingredient lists, artworks and perform classification on OPCB tools
  • Coordinate the seamless handover of verified product dataset from regulatory team for submission
  • Prepare, submit and track regulatory submissions to regulatory authorities through retailers and ensure accurate and timely maintenance of registration databases for both markets
  • Liaise directly with external stakeholders (retailers/agency) to submit finalized registration packages and track progress
  • Manage post-registration audit enquiries and seek support from regulatory team on preparation of claim supporting documents and attending to regulatory enquiries from external stakeholders or regulatory authorities
  • Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders and/or conduct product research to respond to product queries with clarity and accuracy, including the retrieval of complex product information related to customs classification
  • Support escalation and resolution of complex regulatory issues with regulatory team, including regulatory audits as required
  • Maintain accurate regulatory records and documentation management across both markets and work closely with Shiseido regulatory community
  • Perform any other duties assigned to support regulatory governance and business continuity


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Management, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science).
  • Prior experience in project management and exposure in FMCG or beauty industries will be an added advantage
  • Ability to converse with our Thailand retailers/agency will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage data coordination tasks for multiple brands and markets
