Requirement

Job Summary   

Main Responsibilities:   

  • Identify, diagnose and resolve process and equipment related problems 

  • Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step 

  • Lead / Support the New Equipment Qualification to support new technology development and production ramp.  

  • Lead / participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities 

  • Validate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introduction 

  • Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC 

  • Manage / audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives 

  • Support internal and external audits 

  • Defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing. Participate in design requirement review with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility with processing methods. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. 

  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.

  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Other Responsibilities   

  • Data Management and Analysis   

  • Manage and maintain MES-related databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity 

  • Analyze system data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement 

  • Preferred Technical Skills  
    Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and root cause analysis (RCA) 

  • Knowledge Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA) 

  • Knowledge of AI tools and application 

Must Have Soft Skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset  

  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
    Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting 
     

Preferred skills or experience  

  • Experience in or knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies 

  • Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and automation tools 

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) 

Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required

  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills 

  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels 

  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning 

  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus 

  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable 

  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred 

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiment, Engineering Statistical data analysis would be advantageous. 

  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
