Regional Sales Director (APAC) - Data Center Cooling


We are partnering with a global industrial solutions provider looking to hire a senior leader to drive growth across the APAC data center market, with a strong focus on cooling technologies (liquid & air).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute APAC growth strategy for data center cooling solutions
  • Drive business development across hyperscalers, colocation players, OEMs, and integrators
  • Build and manage senior client relationships across the data center ecosystem
  • Identify and influence key stakeholders in the specification and procurement process
  • Track industry trends (immersion cooling, direct-to-chip) and translate into commercial strategy
  • Collaborate with regional/global teams to capture new opportunities and expand market share
  • Lead and grow a regional team


Requirements:

  • 15+ years' experience in sales/business development within the data center industry
  • Strong network across hyperscalers, OEMs, integrators, and consultants
  • Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and cooling technologies
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth in APAC
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally

The Role

This is a market-facing, commercially focused role responsible for originating, structuring, and executing power offtake agreements across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy and BESS assets.


You will play a critical role in driving revenue certainty, enhancing project bankability, and supporting investment outcomes , working closely with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions.


Key Responsibilities

PPA Origination & Market Development

  • Lead origination and execution of Corporate PPAs, Utility PPAs, and tolling agreements
  • Build relationships with utilities, corporates, energy traders, aggregators, and route-to-market providers
  • Identify and drive new commercial opportunities across South East Asia, Australia and also Europe


Commercial Structuring & Execution

  • Lead negotiations on key terms including pricing structures, settlement mechanisms, curtailment, and credit support
  • Work closely with development, legal, and financing teams to drive transactions through to financial close
  • Support lender engagement and project financing processes from a commercial standpoint


Asset Commercialisation & Strategic Transactions

  • Support project monetisation and divestment processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in PPA origination, energy trading, IPP commercial roles, or similar

  • Strong exposure to European power markets (e.g. Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany) would be beneficial
  • Prior experience supporting project finance transactions is highly advantageous
