As an Associate Engineer in Product Support Organization, within the Aftermarket Products & Services (APS) Business Unit, this role is responsible for the technical activities that support the repair and refurbishment of goods. This includes the completion of the quality of goods meeting schedule timelines.


Overview:

The Associate Engineer ensures smooth repair and refurbishment of goods:

  • Repair and refurbishment support: Ensure assemble of goods with accuracy
  • On time delivery: completion of work order within the scheduled time frame


Responsibilities:

  • Create repair and/or refurbishment work orders.
  • Expedite support and coordinate the replenishing of materials and work with materials planners to proactively solve raw material issues.

  • Update system records in a timely upon completion.
  • Support Agility Training to all Product Lines based on Supervisor’s assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualification of Vocational Certificate/NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in the semiconductor/ manufacturing industry
  • Basic knowledge of wire bonding and/or die bonding technology is preferred
  • Able to work independently to troubleshoot and analyze machines and spares issues when needed
  • Possess good written and communication skills

  • New product sourcing and management.   • Oversee regular network and firewall security patching and upgrade
  • Review firewall rules changes and present for CRB approval
  • Manage external vendors for infrastructure services, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Ensure infrastructure changes and bug fixes are applied by vendors per business requirements and IT policies.
  • Design network blueprints and roadmaps.
  • Monitor network performance and implement best practices.
  • Develop and implement standardized technical infrastructures globally.
  • Deliver project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Oversee project management to meet time, quality, security, and budget goals.
  • Hire, coach, and mentor a technical team, ensuring alignment and cohesion.
  • Maintain daily operations and support for global IT network infrastructure (incident & outage management).
  • Deliver global IT network infrastructure projects as required by the business.
  • Plan and manage Capex and Opex for network services.
  • Stay current with new technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain compliance for licenses, SOX, and internal audit globally.
  • Recommend and set up services for on-premises and cloud (Azure, AWS, OCI).
  • Review vendor SaaS access methodology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s or MBA advantageous.
  • Certifications like CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent highly desirable.
  • 7+ years of IT Network Infrastructure experience in a global MNC, preferably in semiconductor/electronics.
  • Experience with IT Data Centre and Network Patching room, company acquisitions, SOX auditing, ITIL V3, and IT sourcing.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS and OCI cloud architecture.
  • Strong leadership in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in SD-WAN using Versa, Cisco LAN, Wireless and NAC, DMZ network, DNS, Azure/AWS/OCI cloud network design and configuration, Checkpoint Firewall, Palo Alto and Cisco Next Gen Firewall, SASE Prisma, Zscaler and Internet
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 operational environment.
