Job Summary

We are looking for motivated individuals to support the Tax team in preparing tax computations, filings, documentation, and research for a portfolio of clients under close guidance. The internship provides hands-on exposure to Singapore tax compliance, client servicing, and tax administration work. The incumbent will work closely with team members to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organised deliverables while building foundational technical knowledge in tax. This role sits within the Tax Services department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing tax computations, schedules, filings, and statutory submissions for clients.
  • Support the team in gathering client information and maintaining accurate tax documentation.
  • Conduct basic tax research and assist in preparing summaries for compliance and advisory matters.
  • Help organise client records, working papers, and supporting documents in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Tax team for ongoing assignments and deadlines.


Skills & Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of accounting or tax principles will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a professional services environment.
  • Able to commit to the internship period as required by the department.

-Undertake assigned internal audits and consultancy projects to ensure the clients meet their financial, operational and compliance objectives.

-Involvement in sustainability-related secondary research and analysis; developing and drafting sustainability disclosure documents; assisting with client relationship management; and supporting in organising seminars/workshops.

-Coordinate project kick-off meetings and other planning activities to support the planning reporting process.

-Report on control deficiencies and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value.

-Support the internal audit projects by identifying opportunities for improvement and reducing business risk through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.

-Use of data analytics and visualisation tools to identify patterns/trends in data sets and evaluate exposure to business processes.

-Engage and communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.


Job Requirements

-Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant fields.

-Excellent attention to detail and exhibit organisational and time-keeping skills.

-Have an analytical mind that can assess and evaluate risk as well as recommend solutions.

-Be able to work both independently and as part of the team by establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

-Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.

-High level of interpersonal skills in handling sensitive and confidential documents
