About the Role
This role involves managing all quantity surveying and contract administration functions, including cost analysis, procurement, progress and variation claims, and final accounts for construction projects. The position requires close coordination with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost control, timely claims, and effective contract management.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and analyze cost comparison
· Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
· Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
· Works closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Client / Client Representatives and Sub-Contractors to accurately arrive with progress claims and variation claims.
· Deals with contractual issues between main contractor and client, and those between main contractor and sub-contractors
· Ensures progressive claims are promptly put up to the client through accurate measurement of actual works accomplished
· Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
· All other Contract Management related job
Requirements:
· Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent
· 6 years and above experience as Contract Manager in main-con companies
· Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
· Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
· 5 Days work week

Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor strict compliance of “Permit to Work” system at worksite & explain the importance to workers at the time of safety talk/tool box meeting
- Coordinate Environmental Control Committee Meeting and implement all environmental control programs
- Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as required by the regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance of operations with NEA and EHS regulations
- Prepare Site Environmental Control Report on a regular basis
- Conduct environmental control audit and investigations
- Able to maintain environmental requirements in line with OHSAS 18001:1999
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, develop environmental control plan, site clean-up plans & monitor their completion
REQUIREMENT /QUALIFICATION
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- Candidate must be a NEA registered ECO
- Must be a registered ECMO
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Building Construction
- With FSM certificate will be an advantage
- Must have professional knowledge in law and regulations of Environment Acts
