We are representing our client in the manufacturing industry to hire a dynamic individual as Senior Director, Global Logistics Transformation based in Singapore.
They will oversee the end to end logistics operations and execution of the company's global logistics transformation strategy across manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for driving logistics network optimisation, digitalisation, operational excellence, and end-to-end process improvements to enhance service, scalability, and cost efficiency across the global organisation.

Requirements

- Strong expertise in warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and 3PL governance.
- Passion for Technology
- Demonstrated track record in Lean Six Sigma, operational excellence, and change management and engineering background
- Strong executive stakeholder management, influencing, and leadership capabilities.

Based in Singapore, this position will provide leadership across the finance and accounting function for Asia-Pacific. The Opportunity
As General Manager of Operations, you will play a critical leadership role in driving operational performance across a complex global operations network. Leading a large-scale operational site in Singapore, with a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees and an around-the-clock operational function. The facility supports customers globally and plays a key role within the organisation's broader international footprint.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's operations strategy, ensuring world-class performance across operational planning, customer delivery, quality, inventory management, operational excellence, and business performance. The role will provide leadership while partnering closely with key functional leaders across the organization to support sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term business objectives.
This is a highly visible position with direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational performance across a complex global operations network, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Drive improvements in operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring consistent execution and accountability across the organization.
- Partner closely with Planning, Quality, Commercial, Customer Operations, and other key business functions to optimize operational efficiency, service performance, and business outcomes.

About You
You are an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience managing complex operational environments on a regional or global scale.
You bring a strong combination of strategic thinking and operational execution, with a proven ability to lead through growth, transformation, and change. Comfortable operating at both executive and operational levels, you have a track record of improving performance, developing teams, and delivering measurable business results.
You are equally effective influencing senior stakeholders as you are engaging with operational leaders and driving execution across geographically dispersed teams.
You Will Likely Demonstrate
- Vast leadership experience within operations, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, technology, healthcare, industrial, or other complex business environments.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations and geographically dispersed teams within a global organization.
- Strong understanding of operational planning, resource management, inventory performance, capacity management, and operational optimization.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience collaborating across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercial, Customer, and other cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of planning, operational performance, customer requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Demonstrated success leading transformation, growth, productivity, or organizational improvement initiatives.
