YOUR ROLE
The incumbent will be part of a team within the IFF department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
- Co-ordinate surveys between Front Line CS and appointed clearance vendor (Both Terminal and A2A shipments)
- Arrange terminal survey documents & survey fee EPV
- Survey pictures download, re-mark file names and segregate respective terminal survey pictures per shipment basis
- Submission of Letter of Intention (LOI) to file claim
- Shipment notification – phone calls to other agents for goods arriving CEVA consolidation
- Handle cargo release documents and buy permits to other agents
- Handle import billing / receipts for other / outside agents after cargo release and permit on behalf charge
- Update listing and post check of pre-assigned cheques utilization
- Communicate with CEVA’s clearance vendor on cold room / cargo irregularity survey arrangement or storage matters
- Document scanning into system (Survey Reports, survey receipts, claim submission)
- Follow up on BUP discrepancy, pictures download / housekeeping & send email notifications of claim intentions to CEVA origin station
- Ensure and prepare required documentations necessary for the release of import shipments
- Validate and clarify on any dispute on vendor charges for import shipments
- Any other duties assigned by the management
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels
- 2-3 years experience in Air Import operations
- Able to work over-time when required
- Good written and spoken English
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable

- Attend to any air terminal requests/ amendments to ensure timely uplift

- Ensure all cargoes are ready and prepared for flight, and coordinate accordingly
- Identify possible Dangerous Goods (DG) rendered to Bollore without declaration
- Check and ensure DG goods are declare and packed in accordance with IATA DG Regulation
- Ensure compliance with customer's Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
- To represent and participate in any internal improvement projects
- Timely escalation of issues/ concerns that requires broader attention and resolution
- Maintain the Air Export Team administration of files and documentations
- Take on all other ad-hoc tasks delegated by Supervisor/Manager
- QHSE

- Support internal communications by preparing content such as case studies, project updates, and innovation newsletters.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Supply Chain or related field is mandatory.
- Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability in drafting proposal & businesses cases using ROI or similar metrics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
- Experience / knowledge of supply chain, transportation or logistics domains is highly desirable
- Experience / knowledge of Robotics and Automation, IoT solutions are desirable

ABOUT THE ROLE?
Handles Dematic Automation Improvement / maintenance and support
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Initiate projects using innovative ideas to kick off projects to reduce and track down time
- To be able to support Automation team in terms of identifying spare parts for alternative replacement to reduce cost and lead time
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields in engineering
- Technical engineering skills
- 6 months credit bearing internship
