Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day finance operations and prepare the full set of accounts for Singapore and overseas subsidiaries, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and expense approval processes.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions with counterparties and ensure accurate financial records.
- Perform full set closing independently and prepare accurate monthly management reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Liaise with external auditors for both local and group audits and serve as a key point of contact during audit engagements.
- Prepare audit schedules and address audit queries in a timely manner.
- Ensure internal controls relating to purchasing, sales, expenses, and inventory movements are implemented and adhered to.
Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Assist in the computation of Corporate Income Tax and liaise with tax agents on tax filing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate secretarial requirements under applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Our client, a leading organisation within the LNG and maritime energy sector, is seeking an experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to play a pivotal role in the commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness of a major LNG infrastructure project. This position will lead the execution of commissioning activities for LNG regasification systems, working closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful transition from construction to commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities for LNG regasification systems, LNG storage facilities, boil-off gas handling systems, and associated process equipment.
- Coordinate the integration of offshore and onshore facilities, ensuring seamless interface management across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, marine, and process disciplines.
- Serve as the key technical liaison between project stakeholders, including vessel owners, EPC contractors, shipyards, operations teams, consultants, and third-party service providers throughout the commissioning phase.
- Review and validate commissioning procedures, testing protocols, operating philosophies, and start-up sequences to ensure alignment with project specifications, operational requirements, and industry best practices.
- Support integrated commissioning programmes by coordinating system completion activities, gas-in readiness, commissioning milestones, reliability runs, and final performance acceptance testing.
- Provide technical leadership during commissioning by troubleshooting complex engineering and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining project quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with process safety requirements, permit-to-work systems, SIMOPS, regulatory standards, and company HSE policies.
- Participate in commissioning risk assessments, HAZOP workshops, pre-start-up safety reviews (PSSR), and other technical assurance activities to support safe project execution.
- Review commissioning dossiers, system completion documentation, punch list close-out, and handover packages to ensure operational readiness before project turnover.
- Support the development and review of operating procedures, commissioning manuals, emergency response procedures, and operational readiness documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimise commissioning methodologies, engineering processes, and project execution practices.
- Provide technical expertise and support for project-related initiatives and other engineering assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience within LNG, LNG-related or other large-scale gas infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities for LNG regasification or cryogenic process systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of LNG process systems, commissioning methodologies, process safety, operational readiness, and integrated testing activities.
- Proven hands-on site commissioning experience gained during EPC, construction, or major capital project execution is essential.
- Experience collaborating with EPC contractors, vessel owners, shipyards, classification societies, regulatory authorities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer, Senior Marine Engineer, Master Mariner, or First Officer (Regas Operations) onboard an FSRU will be highly advantageous.
- Professional certifications relating to LNG operations, commissioning, process safety, or marine engineering will be considered an added advantage.
